Explore Hurghada's desert by quad, spider car and jeep with Holidays Egy, followed by a Bedouin village visit, a short camel ride and an evening programme.
Four ways to experience the desert
This safari combines several activities rather than one long ride. Following the safety briefing, the programme includes around 30 minutes on a quad bike and 15 minutes driving a spider car. The jeep journey covers approximately 25 kilometres each way, taking you beyond the coastal resort area and into the desert landscape.
Village visit and evening programme
At the Bedouin village, watch traditional bread making, visit the herbs pharmacy and take a short camel ride of around five minutes. A welcome drink, dinner and the listed live entertainment form part of the experience. The village visit gives you a break between the driving activities and time to look around.
Pickup and extra costs
Hurghada hotel pickup and drop-off are included. The published supplement for Makadi Bay, El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Safaga is €5 per person. Allow for the €1 local national park fee; scarves, face masks and purchased photographs are separate. Wear closed shoes and bring sun and dust protection.
